A Moon Poet
The Moon Oh look at the nighttime sky holding a ball of small and big craters,the so very flat highlands in the ball in the sky, hey look at that face! Its staring right at me! If only I could be like the man in the moon. Or probably even Neil Armstrong the first astronaut on the moon. But whatever is going to happen I sure am going to be an astronaut !

Washington D.C
Day before yesterday I went to Washington D.C. It was so much fun. First we went to Capital Hill. So we went to the visitor center. You should have saw the security there were 10 guards per door! Then we went to get our passes. First we got to go to what looks like a movie theater that showed the history of Capital Hill. Then we went on the tour we had other places to go so we only stayed half the tour. Then we went to the gift shop and got I got a copy of the Declaration of Independence, and my sister got a copy of the Constitution. Then we went to the Smithsonian Institute it was almost closing time so we only went to the air and space museum. There was this giant airplane that you can go inside and you could control it! Then we went to a lecture about airplanes. I learned 3 routines a pilot uses. Roll,Pitch, and Ya. Then there was this part called" on the moon". It was a bunch of rocks found on the moon and a half satellite. Then there was this real rocket ship but it was too big so they cut off the top. Then we went to the Washington Monument but we couldn't go inside so we just took a picture of it outside. Then we went to the White House but we couldn't go inside so we just took a picture of it outside. Then we went to the Lincoln Memorial but it was closed so we just took a picture of it outside.Labor Day
Today is September 5. It is a holiday. Can you guess it? Well if you guessed Labor Day you guessed right! Today is Labor Day, a holiday when people work very hard. Its a holiday so no one goes to work or school. But the only reason people don't have to go to work are school is because there is some things in your house that need to be cleaned,organized etc. But still you can have some fun. Not only is it Labor Day for me but it is the last day of summer vacation for Monmouth Junction Elementary School. I cant wait! I got everything ready for school. READY SCHOOL HERE I COME!!!!

This is some of the poetry I did in school.
This is a haiku.It is a type of Japenese poetry.Haiku's are usually about nature. There are three lines.The first line has five syllables,the second line has seven syllables and the third line has five syllables.Here is a haiku about rainbows.

My rocket math experience
My Rocket Math Experience
In class I am doing something called Rocket Math.You need to do 40 (forty) questions
in one minute. I am in subtraction W.It is up to multiplication W.We have pre-tests to see which level you start on. So far I started on addition and subtraction M.

If you don't know how to play a piano and you want to learn how to play on one,here is your chance. READ MY BLOG TO BECOME A MASTER IN PIANO.
Chapter 1: Where to buy a Piano
There are a lot of places where you could buy a piano.Mostly you could find them in music stores.You should buy a piano seat even though it has no use ,lots of people use them. There are different types of pianos. Like keyboards,pianos,grand pianos,baby grand pianos,upright piano etc..So try using these names when you ask a person who sells pianos so it doesn't get confusing for them!Now in the next chapters you will learn how to play pianos. Also try asking guitar center or samash for a piano, they have a wide collection of pianos for sale. You can also buy used pianos and there are keyboards at Amazon.com and pianos.com.
Chapter 2 Fingers Have Numbers
When you learn how to play a piano,your fingers are given numbers.Your thumb is number one.Your index finger is number two.Your middle finger is number three.Your ring finger is number four.Your pinky is number five.You might of noticed a pattern that it is from numbers one to five,and from your thumb to your pinky.In the next chapter you will learn how to play on the black keys.

When you learn how to play the piano there are things called the treble clef and the bass clef. A treble clef is like a swirl with a J under it. Whenever you see a note nearer to the treble clef than the the bass clef play the note with the right hand.The bass clef is like a swirl followed by two dots.If you see a note that is closer to the bass clef than the treble clef play the note with the left hand.

When you learn how to play a piano there is some thing called a chord. A chord is formed when you press two keys at the same time.

When you learn how to play on the piano there is some thing called a bar line.There is a way to tell which note is which.The note that is below the bar line and has a line cut through it is called middle C.The note that is below the bar line and does not have a line cut through it is "D". The note that is cut through the first bar line is "E".The note that is between the first and second bar line is "F". The note that is cut through the second bar line is "G". The first number in the time signature means how many beats or in a measure. A measure is line that separates a big song into little pieces.

Aravs Birthday in Class
Yesterday my class celebrated Aravs birthday.He was 7 years old.he brought in donuts shaped like an 8 since he was turning 8.And the flavors were vannila,strawberry, and chocolate.I chose vannila.His real birthday is tommorow.February 19

Martin Luther King Jr.
Martin Luther King Jr. was a leader.He had a dream.He wanted to make the world a better place.Americans honor King with a holiday each year.This year it takes place on January 17.King was born on January 15,1929.He grew up in the South.When he was a boy,the laws in some places were unfair.They did not give black people the same rights as white people.Black students had to go to separate schools from white students.They also had to use separate bathrooms and drinking fountains.King worked to change unfair laws.He also gave many speeches.In 1963,he gave his "I Have a Dream" speech.It became famous.People still remember it today.King gives his'I Have a Dream"speech in Washington,D.C.Because of Kings hard work,equal rights laws were passed.Those laws make sure that black and white people can have a fun time together.

My sister is sick today
My sister is sick today that is why she stayed from home today.First she brushed her teeth.Second our mom told her to sleep a little more.Third our mom gave her some paper and markers and my sister started coloring.Forth my sister started sleeping after I went in the school bus.

Today my friend Arnav who is in the same class and community as me came over to my house for a play date!The first thing we played was war next we played trio blocks then we played catch with my sister last we did a 300 piece puzzle but we could not finish it.I saw that he walked all by himself to my house.
