Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a leader.He had a dream.He wanted to make the world a better place.Americans honor King with a holiday each year.This year it takes place on January 17.King was born on January 15,1929.He grew up in the South.When he was a boy,the laws in some places were unfair.They did not give black people the same rights as white people.Black students had to go to separate schools from white students.They also had to use separate bathrooms and drinking fountains.King worked to change unfair laws.He also gave many speeches.In 1963,he gave his "I Have a Dream" speech.It became famous.People still remember it today.King gives his'I Have a Dream"speech in Washington,D.C.Because of Kings hard work,equal rights laws were passed.Those laws make sure that black and white people can have a fun time together.

My sister is sick today

My sister is sick today that is why she stayed from home today.First she brushed her teeth.Second our mom told her to sleep a little more.Third our mom gave her some paper and markers and my sister started coloring.Forth my sister started sleeping after I went in the school bus.
